Stebbin’s Gulch

This weekend I had the privilege to hike into a somewhat remote area of the Holden Arboretrum with professional photographer, Ian Adams (who just happened to have photographed a book for the place).
There is no trail at the bottom of the gulch so we walked through ankle deep, and in places deeper freezing water carrying all our gear. The steep walls of the gulch don’t allow for anyplace but the creek bed to walk in.
